Q: Why did you choose to register for the Trustee training program?
A: We are in the business of managing investment portfolios for First Nations, and I wanted to take the initiative of increasing my knowledge about the Trusts so I could better serve our First Nation clients.
Q: What do/did you like best about your experience with the Trustee training program?
A: I enjoyed the ease of doing the program on-line, and yet we were able to engage with participants through on-line discussions.
Q: What do/did you think of the quality of education you received through the Trustee training program?
A: The quality was very well done ? written at a level that the average person should be able to understand. While I am an expert with the investment side of the Trust, I also learned a lot about the operation of the Trust, and the structure.
Q: What do/did you think of the online delivery system used for the training program?
A: It was a good system.

I am glad I did it, and encourage other professionals working with First Nation and Aboriginal communities to do the program to deepen their understanding of their needs.

Q: Why did you choose to register for the Trustee training program?
A: Our Nation has implemented one trust fund already and is currently contemplating setting up a Minor's trust fund. I am the Council's chair of the finance portfolio so I need to know a bit more of how trusts works than the average councillor.
Q: What do/did you like best about your experience with the Trustee training program?
A: The course content is easy to read and comprehend.
Q: What do/did you think of the quality of education you received through the Trustee training program?
A: It is relevant to what I am engaged in with our portfolio managers and Investment advisors so the quality is excellent.

A: Perfect for me as it is easy to access when I have the time and the self paced course works well.

A: I advise Trusts on their investment options and this program is very helpful in giving me a more complete understanding of the governance structure and constraints that apply to the investments.
