There are 5 distinct categories of NATOA Membership as follows:
A: Individuals from Aboriginal Organizations: includes any individual who works in an Aboriginal Organization.
B: Other Individuals: includes all other individuals who do not fit category A.
C: Aboriginal Organizations: includes any organization that is at least 50% controlled or owned by aboriginal people.
D: Other organizations: includes any organization that does not fit category C.
E: Partner Member: includes any organization who would like to take an active role in the organization through such activities as authoring research papers, assisting with marketing and promotion, providing administrative support or assisting with fundraising initiatives. Acceptance subject to application.

E | Partner Member | $1,000 - 1st 2 members $250 per additional | Group membership for up to 2 individuals. Others can join at reduced rates. Transferable within the organization Organization holds one vote. |
Note: Members are invoiced once annually. Invoices are mailed out 30 days prior to the expiry of the current membership and are due and payable upon receipt
